Look Fear in the Eye
All new ventures spark excitement…or even fear. We procrastinate and chew our fingernails, hemming and hawing, delaying the launch. For what? Spirit doesn’t intend us to stifle our divine inspirations. The key to success isn’t waiting for the perfect moment to arrive; it’s rather just taking a step. Look fear squarely in the eye, dear traveler.
Make a list, then begin crossing items off the list. After a few footfalls, the ground behind you flattens into a clearer path. It doesn’t matter if you stumble or take a few missteps. You can always adjust your direction, and as you tread ground more confidently it starts to create a path inspiring others to follow.
Listen to your inner guidance. It never ceases to amaze when so many beautiful things endlessly jump out of the ethers right into our hearts and minds. Change is overwhelming at first, but eventually you’ll arrive at your goal. Action creates clarity over time; footprints add up to demonstrate tangible forward progress.
You don’t need to avoid fear to live your dreams, you must rather be willing to stare it down. Invite risk. Perhaps you’ll find it winks back at you. The path may be bumpy, but you’ll get there.
